High-grade Recycling of used Tyres

Germany produces about 600.000 t of used tyres annually. Due to the principles of a circuit economy, producers have the legal obligation to organise the taking back and recycling of their products. Regarding ecological compatibility, they should choose that recycling alternative, which uses the resources of the product most effectively. For the tyre industry the following priorities arise:
